peace in the pause

Small acts of care create quiet ripples of healing.

Hello beautiful soul,

You may notice this week’s musing is arriving a day later than usual.

As I sat down to write, something didn’t feel right.
Even though I had ideas and topics to share, I felt blocked… depleted of creative energy. So I paused, prayed, and asked for guidance.

The quiet wisdom I received was simple:
be still, release the pressure and honor what my whole being was asking for - a day of true rest for body, mind, heart, and soul.

So that is exactly what I did.

I won’t pretend there wasn’t a small twinge of guilt or anxiety about breaking the normal rhythm. That’s just part of how I’m wired. But, in allowing space and grace to pause and truly listen, something beautiful opened. My heart softened, my mind cleared, and what needed to be shared… arrived.

As you read this, I gently invite you to check in with yourself:

How are you feeling in this moment?
What are your body, mind, heart, and soul yearning for?
Where might you release a little pressure before it builds too high?

As the days slowly grow longer and the seasons begin to shift around us, I find myself wondering:
How can we become more attuned to our inner world -
to the quiet rhythms of our hearts, our desires, and the vision we hold for our lives?

In my stillness, I heard a soft whisper from God:

Be still, and know that I am God.

And I realized…
this is exactly what I had been yearning for.
A release of pressure.
Deep, nourishing rest.
Time in nature.
Space to breathe.
Permission to pause.

Pressure only creates more pressure - more overwhelm, more anxiety, more heaviness. When I don’t listen to the gentle whispers, life grows louder until I am forced to stop.

Honestly, the past few months have felt like a roller coaster. I’ve felt misaligned and out of sync with my natural rhythm.
So now, I am choosing differently.

I am choosing to listen.
I am choosing to show up - slowly, faithfully, one day at a time.
I am choosing devotion to my health, my calling, and to serving those in need.
I am choosing to release pressure and keep a sacred promise to myself.

In that promise, I feel something returning -
freedom in my bones,
peace in my soul,
hope in my heart,
and joy in my mind.

Like a seed long planted… finally ready to bloom.

I hold myself as whole, capable, resourceful, and creative.
I come home to every part of me.
The messy parts, the chaotic parts, the growing and evolving parts.
All of it guided by love.
A quiet lighthouse leading me back to myself.

Winter can feel both like a blessing and a heaviness.
When I fall out of rhythm, everything feels harder.
So I begin again.

I return to what fills my cup.
I write to you.
I share vulnerably so you don’t feel alone.
I pray.
I give thanks.
I step into nature.
I serve.
I release what no longer serves me.
I soften.
I love.
I simply keep becoming.

I want you to know that being able to share this space with you is medicine for my soul. Thank you for allowing me into your inbox, into your presence, into this shared moment of healing and alignment. It means more than words can say.

Please remember:
If you are struggling… if the season feels dark… if you feel depleted, confused, or overwhelmed… you are not alone.

What is one small, gentle step you can take this week to support yourself in coming home again?

And if someone you love might need this reminder, feel free to share it.
Small acts of care create quiet ripples of healing.

An Invitation

If something in this reflection stirred your heart…
you don’t have to walk it alone.

I’m gently exploring the opening of a small Zoom reflection circle - a quiet, supportive space to pause, be heard, and reconnect with what is unfolding within you.

I’m also holding space for 1:1 private coaching sessions
for anyone feeling stuck, blocked, or longing for clarity, healing, and forward movement toward the vision they carry for their life.

These spaces are tender, confidential, and guided with deep care.
There is no pressure - only an open invitation if your heart feels called.

If you’re curious or would like to learn more,
simply email me. I would be honored to connect with you.

Until next time, my friend -
may you find stillness, nourishment, and peace exactly where you are.
