Affect your mood with daily rituals & habits.

Have you ever taken inventory of your daily habits? Do you know the ones that make you feel amazing? Do you have those?

To be honest, I was someone who would start up a new self care ritual, do it for a while, then either get bored or just let it slip away. I would blame it on not having enough time, or I’d just make up some other excuse.

After a recent practice in self reflection, taking inventory on what was working in my life and what wasn’t, I realized that I move my body every day - a subconscious ritual that has been with me since I was a teenager. It keeps me grounded, and encourages self confidence - especially when I’m feeling blah. An added bonus is that I get the best ideas & creative sparks when I’m on my mat or on a run in nature!

I thought, there must be something to this idea of creating rituals & habits and the value it can provide to life. I asked myself, ‘What are some more simple tools I can incorporate into my day that will provide me with the same feel good energy that my movement practice does?’

I gave myself space & grace to start small: 1-3 minute meditations, morning or evening journaling & my newfound favorite nervous system support.

My daily rituals have grown & evolved. And, most importantly, I have proven to myself that showing up with consistency will provide lasting benefits. That investment in myself is invaluable!

Pause, check-in on what just one ritual or habit can do to support you feeling great.

If you’re struggling to create a new habit, or just not sure where to start, I can relate.

My hope is that you trust yourself to take inspired action, because that’s the first step in the process of transformation.

Habits and rituals take time & need space, plus require consistency and momentum to grow. The beautiful thing about this process is that it’s just that — a process. We have the power to change our habits — add, adjust and recalibrate to fit your lifestyle.

Remember to make sure it feels good, is fun, and helps you on the path to achieving your hopes & dreams.
