Shift your mindset without it feeling like a chore.

 

Recently I was having a day. I felt flat, irritable, uninspired & just plain blah. I decided I’d sit with those feelings & emotions, befriend them, and let them know, “Hey, thanks for stopping by, but I’m good. I got this.”

To my surprise, this old friend hung out longer than usual - so much so that it joined me throughout the day & into the next. I knew there was something the universe was trying to tell me, but I really didn’t have the time or the energy to get curious. Until the body sensations started, which forced me to take a hard STOP. 

I allowed myself to be still, listening to what I needed in that moment and asking, “How can I use my tools to make small adjustments to my mindset so that my energy is calm & confident rather than chaotic & squirrely?” 

 

I asked myself:

  • How do I feel? 

  • What’s one thing I am grateful for? 

  • Why is it important for me to choose peace & joy vs. chaos & worry? 

  • Am I moving my body? 

  • If you struggle with a fixed mindset & shifting your perspective, I get it and hold space for you.

 

Give yourself grace when adjusting your mindset.

With consistency, practice & patience you can & WILL shift your perspective — this indirectly affecting your energy & peace of mind.

My hope is that you give yourself permission to open yourself up to the positive effects of shifting your perspective & watch it filter into all areas of your life! 

It’s the small, sustainable changes that make the biggest impact.
