Light the path for mindfulness.

Light the path for mindfulness with curiosity, compassion & confidence.

Meditation & Mindfulness are less about an instant shift or immediate relief, but take a bit more time – more about the process, trusting it, and showing up consistently with curiosity and interest.

There is no good or bad way to practice mindfulness, rather it’s the ongoing experience and feeling of confidence, courage and clarity which are the building blocks to create a sustainable habit that feels easy and effortless rather than forced and controlled.

Meditation & mindfulness come in many forms. That's the beauty of the practice – it’s being aware of the present and not getting lost in thoughts or feelings, but rather noticing them objectively and surrendering.

Take inventory of the daily habits or practices that you're currently doing, do they provide you with a sense of freedom, joy, or peace?

For me, I find that my daily movement practice, journaling and grounding myself in nature provide me with an opportunity for self awareness in the present, syncing my mind-body + soul together.

I get it, starting a mindfulness & meditation practice can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be.

If you feel called to, try these three tools to begin your journey.

  1. Find a quiet place where you’ll be uninterrupted

  2. Get comfortable seated or lying down

  3. Breathe — just start by noticing your breath

p.s. HAVE FUN! It’s a process that takes time just like everything else. Start to notice the small shifts – feeling relaxed, at ease in stressful situations, energized and motivated.

My hope is that little practices like this will support your desire to feel good and provide the soul care that will contribute to a journey of transformation.
