I was reminded of this mantra today when in nature on a run.  I used to repeat it over and over during a time in my life when I was struggling to make sense of where I was going, who I was and what I wanted out of life.

Today, when I asked the Universe for guidance, I was reminded of the simple yet transformative gift of gratitude.

I was searching for direction & clarity and, as soon as I shifted my thoughts to those of the abundance I was surrounded by, I found the path I was looking for.  I trusted my intuition and found that, by empowering my mind with thoughts of graciousness, kindness and compassion, I would be able to change the trajectory of my focus & ultimately my attitude.

It’s almost as if acknowledging all the things that are working in my favor, all that I was grateful for, interrupted my negative inner dialogue, self doubt, fear and worry.

When you’re faced with something uncomfortable, change, or anything that interferes with your peace & joy, just PAUSE. Be still, breathe and let it flow in whatever way you’re most comfortable with - what are you the most grateful for - what makes you come alive - what fills your cup?

Stay aware - do you feel lighter, at ease, calm and relaxed? Allow your voice of gratitude to filter into all the areas of your life, and share your light with those who are open to receiving.

“When you are grateful, an invisible blanket of peace covers you, it makes you glow, it makes you happy, strong, warm.  Gratitude puts the mind at ease about everything around.”  - Om Swami - Spiritual Monk

Thank you!

"Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity...it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
