Fresh ideas to feed your mind, body and soul.
“Mindfulness is a conscious choice made every day to practice self-awareness, curiosity, compassion for self & others, so that you can witness thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and the surrounding environment objectively – through the lens of love.”

A Mindful Spring Gift: Cultivating Presence & Peace with Meditation
Meditation made simple: Tips, My Personal Journey and Freda, my Comfort Cat.
Meditation is a journey, not a destination. This Body Scan Meditation is designed to help you cultivate presence, grounding and self-acceptance. I hope it brings you peace and helps you stay grounded amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life.
For me, meditating has been a path to self-discovery, healing, and finding stillness in a chaotic world. My meditation practice started almost 7 years ago as a way to manage anxiety and support my sobriety journey. Now, meditation is an essential part of my daily life, helping me stay grounded, regulate my emotions, and reconnect with my authentic self.
One thing I’ve learned along the way is that the process of meditation is never linear. Some days are smooth while others feel challenging, and sometimes it’s as if I’m learning something new. However, one thing has remained constant: each meditation session is a gift. Even on the days when my mind races, the practice of showing up for myself, without judgement, is always worthwhile.

Finding the Sweet Spot: Balance Between Structure and Flow
Ever felt torn between the freedom to flow and the need for structure? In this week’s mindful musing, I’m sharing how I’ve learned to balance both—and how it might just be the key to unlocking your own creative potential.

What It’s REALLY Like to Work with a Coach (Hint: It’s Transformational!)
Coaching is a partnership—an invitation to reflect, grow, and evolve in ways that feel deeply authentic to you. Together, moving at your pace closing the gap from where you are now to where you desire to be - moving toward alignment, self-trust, and deeper fulfillment. I believe in the International Coaching Federation principal that we are all Whole, Capable, Creative & Resourceful beings - craving a nonjudgemental space to unpack thoughts, feelings and emotions that may be keeping you from moving forward.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you uncover your path to growth and self-acceptance.

Honoring Your Natural Pace
It’s easy to bypass or dismiss our needs when we’re in a hurry. But what I’ve realized is when I listen, when I honor my pace, I discover what I truly need. Some days that is slowness, softness, and stillness. Other days it’s focus, energy, and inspiration. Both are valid. There is no right or wrong—only what works for you.

Shift from “New Year, New You” to Celebrating the Real You in 2025
Instead of focusing on changing, fixing, or improving things you don’t like about yourself, what if we shifted the narrative? Instead of putting your attention on what needs to change, why not build on what’s already working, what you’re proud of, and what truly inspires you? Let’s focus on the things that bring you pure, unfiltered joy and fulfillment.

Grief is Not Linear, Nor is Our Human Experience – Cultivating Grace Through Grief
Grief is not linear. It’s a process to be honored, embraced, and felt deeply—just like every other part of our human experience. It’s yours to nurture. Allow it to unfold at its own pace. If you’re struggling, don’t hesitate to ask for help. You are not alone.
Grief can take many forms. Sometimes, it’s not just about the loss of someone we love, but also the grief of letting go of an old way of being, a season of life.
Whether you’re grieving a recent loss or something from the past, I want you to know: you’re not alone. You are seen. You are heard. Your grief is valid.

Comparison is the Thief of Joy — Here's How to Connect to the Peace Within Yourself
It’s easy to get stuck in a cycle of believing everyone else has it figured out, that everyone else is living a perfect life. Comparison is a trap that steals our joy, and when I’m not grounded within myself, I often look outside for validation. But here's the thing — comparison is the thief of joy. When we focus on what others have, we lose sight of the beauty and magic of what’s right in front of us.

The Power of the Space In-Between: Honor Where You Are
Have you ever felt like you’re standing between two worlds? One foot in the life you know, and the other reaching into the unknown, unsure of your next step? If this resonates with you, you’re not alone—I believe there’s power in this very space.

Gratitude Supports My Attitude
Today, when I asked the Universe for guidance, I was reminded of the simple yet transformative gift of gratitude.
